What a great surprise to find this wonderful and fascinating specialty farm only 1/2 hour away from our home. The owners and staff welcomed our visit and educated us on how to cultivate mushrooms. Very engaging and helpful. Can’t wait for their mushroom events in the spring and summer highlighting using mushrooms in dishes that will be prepared by New Jersey chefs from some of the fine restaurants in the area. Other mushroom related events will also be featured. Can’t wait. We did purchase a variety of mushrooms that were harvested from their growing rooms. Cooked them that night. Outstanding. I encouraged everyone to take advantage and visit this very interesting little slice of of New Jersey’s farming community.
